Pietje Bell raises hell in town with his silly adventures. Some people cry shame over his actions, others consider him a real hero. Pietje finds a job as a newspaper boy and even puts a circus performance together. Coincidentally, he tracks down a real gang of thieves. But as nobody believes him, Pietje goes into hiding and prowls around the neighbourhood with his ‘Black Hand Gang’…
