Jeux d’enfants
van Yann Samuell, France, 2003
During the festival we will screen a film especially for mothers with babies. Jeux d’enfants is a film for adults in which the leitmotiv is a typical children’s game: ‘truth or dare’. Sophie and Julien broke taboos when they were children, they ignore bans and undermine authority but they also have a lot of fun…they are up to anything, except admitting that they are in love with each other.
Perhaps your baby can not fully enjoy the film yet, but the semi-darkened theatre and the (soft) background noise can be relaxing for both mother and baby. Other fans of this film are also welcome of course, as long as they do not mind a few little baby burbs and some babbling. Cultural mother’s milk and free of charge for babies.
