Mind the Gap is a wonderful film about two girls, Elin and Yasmin, who literally bump into each other (it is a pretty hard bump)! Both girls have the same goal: to be admitted to the police academy. They each have a dream for the future. Yasmin – a Turkish immigrant – has a huge sense of justice and dreams of a better world. Elin – an impulsive and easy-going girl – tries to break free from her parents. A friendship is in blossom but will everything turn out the way they are hoping?
