Paul S. Sullivan, an American film maker, is making a film for the Belgian producer Max Vogel in Antwerp. It's an English speaking film about the famous serial killer Freddy Lebecq. But just at that moment, the American lead actor suffers a crisis. He doesn't want to raddle his dialogues in the film, but he wants to get to know his character.
