8-year old Lucas lives with his father, Romain, on an isolated farm in Brittany. His mother died giving birth to Lucas and since there are no other children around, he has become a loner. When Romain moved to the farm with his wife, he gave her a little white Galloway cow with big black ears and named it after a polynesian island, "Fatore".
