Sweden, the Arctic regions, midsummer night. Dad, Mum, Jens and Camilla enjoy their holidays on a desolate island. A strange little (animated) fellow sneaks into Camilla’s room. He steals all her dolls and puts them in a huge bag. Every time he touches one of the dolls, it comes alive. He also steals a treasure box. Jens notices this and immediately sets off in pursuit of the little fellow.
The combination of living and animated characters resulted in an original and refreshing movie, a nice classic for all ages.
