I Would(n't) Want to Live Anywhere Else
In cooperation with Rataplan, Vertel de Stad, De Verzoeting and Jekino, the festival organises a 4-day workshop 'documentary' filmmaking. About 12 children (10-12years old) get the opportunity to make a short film about their surroundings, their city, their neighbourhood. We find out why they like or dislike the place where they live. We find out how they look at the problems of a big city: pauverty, racism and crime. But their stories are also about how beautiful their neighbourhood is, or what they really like about the place they grow up in. At the end of the workshop the films are screened in Rataplan.

Workshop Parafix
Have you never wondered how they do it: walking through doors and flying in he air, to jump from skyscrapers without injuring yourself, to walk on walls and ceilings,... your head that walks off and...huh?... an other head on your body? Trickery, or then again not? At this workshop you will learn the tricks of the business. After an introduction about cameratechniques we'll be making a short film filled with trickery and spectacular scenes. Amazing with the audience guaranteed!

Workshop Rocky Horror Video Shoot
At the workshop we need victims who are willing to be cut open, to be tortured, to have their eyes cut out and bleed to death. All this on a voluntary basis! Why? 'Cause we will be making a horror movie on video! Are you the future 'Master of Horror' that dears to make these thrilling scenes or are you the brave one that can stand tall throughout all these horror-trickery? Or are you silently amused by it? Whatever way you'll enjoy it, because we will be watching some flashback videoscenes from 'the best of the art'.
