Butterflies in Your Tummy
Nothing is more fun than butterflies in your tummy...Writing romantic poetry, drawing hearts,... On Thursday, 4 days before Valentine, we bring our visitors in the mood with films about 'falling in love' and with sweet games.
We also plan a workshop 'butterflies in your tummy', in cooperation with ABC Antwerp Book Capital and NCJ/Villa Kakelbont, Short films without dialogue get a new storyline. Children look at these films and make up a new story together with several youth novelists (Daniel Billiet, Kolet Janssen or Paul Verept).

Studio Rataplan
In Rataplan we organise a 4-day workshop. Every room is constructed as a real filmset. Every day the children learn a different aspect of film: animation, sound, special-effects and reporting. Afterwards there is room for experiment.

Whaling
We organise the creatice course 'Whaling' under supervision of Benjamin Demeyere. At first children watch his absurd, but funny short 'Whaling' and afterwards they meet the whale in person! Afterwards they create their own artwork about their experiences with the whale.

Who Likes to Decorate?
We are looking for creative children who like to decorate the cinema with papier mâché! We will build frames for film posters and other nice gadgets to make the entrance more colourful!
Your own piece of art will be admired by the public the whole week, and you can take it home after the festival! We thank the participants for your help with a free film ticket!

You Like to Hear a Story?
Isn't it nice to be overwhelmed by a beautiful or exiting story?
We have invited a storyteller to our festival. Her name is Marijke and she brings a suitcase with ferry tales and a magical carpet. After the story, all the children can make a wish and put it on the 'cloud of wishes'...

Beauty Farm
Our own beauty parlour! Like a juggler conjures a rabbit out of a hat, we conjure a real actress or a miss out of our cosmetic case. With make-up, eyeliner, eye shadow,... we can look like our idol for a while. Come to our Beauty Farm and enjoy your new look.

Teasing Trailers
"Soon in a theatre near you: an exiting action film, a funny adventure, a touching love story, a spooky triller,..." The choice is up to you! In this workshop you get the chance to make your own trailer. Use pieces of recent trailers and mix it with your own filming results...Be the master in editing and surprise the audience. The trailers are published on the Internet!

Make Your Own Animated Film
We'll make our own film studio and invite you to come and help us in making an animated film! We'll give a short introduction about scrips-writing, creating characters and decoration and then you start out... You'll also do all the filming and editing! There will be a screening of your creation just before the closing film and we'll publish your film on the Internet.
