2010 / prizes
The jury of professionals, the children’s jury in Antwerp and the children’s jury in Bruges will select the best feature film and the best short film of 2010. The jury of professionals will present a distribution award to the best feature film. This film will be distributed by Jekino Distribution. Furthermore, the jury of professionals will present an award to the best short film and the director receives the Province of West Flanders Award to finance one of his future film projects. Finally, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for and select the best feature film. The winning film receives an honourable mention.

Children’s Jury Bruges:
• Book of Masters (Kniga Masterov / Book of Masters) by Vadim Sokolovsky (Russia, 2009)
- best feature film
• Anna Lovenstein (Anna Lovenstein) by Pauline Bureau (France, 2009)
– best short film
The audiences in Antwerp and Bruges both voted for The Crocodiles (Vorstadtkrokodile / De krokodillenbende) by Christian Ditter (Germany, 2009) as the best feature film.
The 22nd edition was a success with around 7.000 visitors and was enjoyed by many children, who had the opportunity to see movies coming from all over Europe and to participate in the various workshops and multi-media installations.

Young people have the gift to look infinitely far without any restrictions, interference or prejudice. Eternal youth is possible as every story can play tricks with time and fool the brain. What is reality? Stories are indispensable.
