1999 / activities

During the 11th edition of the European Youth Film Festival Flanders, a lot of activities are being organised for children. Every day, after the screening of 13h30, around 15h15 an amuzing activity takes place. These activities have always something to do with the medium film or refer to a film shown on the festival.
Musician Bert Embrechts, who composed the film music for "Dief", "She Good Fighter" and "Diamant" will tell something about composing film music after the film "The Little Flute". After the screening of the Swedish film "The Glassblowers Children", a glassblower will give a demonstration with a lamp. After the screening of "Madelief", young actors will tell about their experiences. The youth department of Antwerp organizes the while week activities for children: after "Madelief" they will potter small daisies; after the film "Tommy & The Wildcat", children will be made up like wild animals; they will also potter African masks, referring to the film "Missing Link". At the end, they will make candysticks to eat during the final party.
