2000 / activities

Numerous activities for children will be organized during the 12th edition of the European Youth Film Festival Flanders. Every day, after the13h30 show, somthing fun for children takes place, usually aroung 15h15. Those activities refer to a film at the festival or are connected with films.
When the first competitiion film is shown on March 6th, it will be preceded by a big party for the children. The red carpet will be rolled out when child stars enter the theatre. The main charachters of Blinker (Joren Seldeslachts), Rosie (Aranka Coppens) and W817 (Aagje Dom) talk about their acting experiences.

Raf and Ronny will be sitting in a boat, after the screening of Two in a Boat, and doing craziest things. Of course, a phylosophical introductionwill be given with the film 'Sofie's World). Bert van Goethem, maker of the short film 'Just to be a part of it' will explain the children how an animated film is made. Known actors and directors will tell stories about their favourite films.
The Youth Service of Antwerp and children's restaurants Sensunik will be creating some fun moments.
